Raffle

1. Organiser and prize

The organiser is Max Fischer & Helge Marie Hümpel GbR (Schaalsee Records), Seeweg 2a, 23883 Seedorf OT Groß Zecher, Germany, email: hello@schaalseerecords.net.

The prize is a package for one band or artist:

• 3 studio days at the recording studio on Lake Schaalsee, with Helge and Max as engineers
• Accommodation in the artist flat in the house for the duration of the studio days
• 1 fully mixed and mastered song from the session, ready for release

The prize can be redeemed until 31 March 2027. The date is agreed together. A cash payment or exchange for other services is not possible. Travel, food and further services (e.g. mixing or mastering of additional songs) are not included.

2. Participation

Participation is possible from 25 October 2026 until 8 November 2026, 23:59 (CET). It is free of charge and not tied to any purchase.

Bands and solo artists can take part. Everyone attending the studio days must be at least 18 years old. A band applies through one contact person who speaks for the band.

How to take part: answer our questions on the website and upload demos there (www.schaalseerecords.net). One entry per band/artist.

Everyone who does not win will receive our opening offers “Last Minute” and “Now for later” from us by email.

3. Requirements

What you need to bring:

• At least two prepared songs. All songs must be fully written and rehearsed before the session.
• Demos in advance. Ideally send us a demo of every song. A phone recording is perfectly fine, we care about the songs, not the sound.
• The three studio days are recording days. Your application must therefore include enough work for three days. Mixing and mastering take place afterwards.

We cannot consider incomplete entries (e.g. without demos). We only have limited space and no more than ten beds. This means our spatial conditions may also lead to exclusion.

4. Use as a reference and for marketing

The songs remain yours or your band’s. By taking part, you allow us to use the results of the session as a reference and for our marketing. This includes:

• the finished songs (or excerpts) on our website and our social media channels
• photos and videos from the studio in which you can be seen
• your band name and a short quote from you about your time on Lake Schaalsee

We always credit you as the artist and link to you. What exactly we show is agreed with you before the session. There is no payment for this.

5. Winner notification, redemption and data protection

• Notification: On 15 November 2026 we will contact the winning band by email, Instagram direct message or phone. If we do not hear back within seven days, we will choose another band.
• Redemption: We agree on the date together, no later than 31 March 2027. If the prize is not redeemed by then, it expires.
• Exclusion: We may exclude entries if false information is given or the conditions are not met.
• Instagram and Facebook: This raffle is in no way associated with Instagram, Facebook or Meta and is not sponsored or supported by them.
• Data protection: We use your details and demos only to run the raffle. Afterwards we delete them, unless you explicitly want to keep hearing from us. Details: privacy policy
• Changes: We may modify or end the raffle for good reason.
