We take the protection of your data seriously. Here we explain which data is processed when you visit this website, for what purpose and on what legal basis.

2. Overview
- Without consent: hosting with Hostinger, contact form, raffle application and customer management with Brevo, technically necessary storage of your cookie choice. The fonts are hosted on our own server; no fonts are loaded from Google.
- Only with your consent: Google Analytics (category “Statistics”), map from Google Maps and appointment calendar from Calendly (category “External media”) as well as the newsletter via Brevo (sign-up with confirmation).
3. Cookie banner and consent
On your first visit, a banner asks which services you agree to: “Statistics” (Google Analytics) and “External media” (Google Maps, Calendly). You can accept all, allow only the necessary ones or choose individually. Without consent, none of these services is loaded. Your choice and the time are only stored in your browser (local storage, entry “srec-consent-v2”) and are not transmitted to us. This storage is technically necessary so that we do not ask you again on every visit (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG, Art. 6 (1) (c) and (f) GDPR). You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Cookies” at the bottom of every page.
4. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. When you access the site, the server automatically stores information transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This data is technically necessary to deliver the website and ensure its security (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The log files are deleted after a short time. We have a data processing agreement with Hostinger pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
5. Contact form, email and customer management with Brevo
When you write to us via the form or by email, we process your details (name, email address, selected topic, message and date of the enquiry) to answer your enquiry and plan your project with you. The enquiry is sent to us by email and stored as a contact in our customer management at Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH (Brevo), Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany). There we can organise enquiries and send you automated emails about your enquiry, for example a confirmation of receipt or an appointment reminder.
This does not mean you will receive newsletters or advertising. You only get those if you sign up for the newsletter yourself (section 7).
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your enquiry aims at a booking or contract, otherwise our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We delete the data once your enquiry has been dealt with and no collaboration comes about, at the latest after 12 months. For bookings, we keep data for as long as tax and commercial law requires (usually 6 to 10 years).
6. Raffle application
When you apply via the form on the “Raffle” page, we process your details (name, email address, phone number if provided, project name, home base, line-up, project description, links, song titles, how you heard about us) and the demos you upload or link. We use them to review the applications, run the raffle and notify the winners. The application is stored on our server at Hostinger (section 4) and sent to us by email. We also store your name, email address and project name as a contact in our customer management at Brevo (sections 5 and 8), and send you a confirmation of receipt via Brevo.
As described in the terms of participation, we send everyone who does not win a one-off email with our opening offers after the draw. You only receive the newsletter if you tick the separate box for it and confirm your sign-up (section 7).
The legal basis is your participation in the raffle under our terms of participation (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). After the raffle has ended, we delete the applications and demos, at the latest 3 months after the application deadline, unless you explicitly want to keep hearing from us. We keep the winners’ data for as long as we need it to redeem the prize, and beyond that only as far as required by law.
7. Newsletter with Brevo
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your email address to send you news from the studio every now and then. Sign-up uses the double opt-in procedure: you receive an email with a confirmation link and are only added after clicking it. As proof, we store the time of sign-up and confirmation.
We use Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH (Brevo), Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany) for sign-up and sending. Brevo evaluates whether a newsletter was delivered and opened and which links were clicked. For this purpose, the emails contain an invisible tracking pixel and personalised links. This helps us improve the newsletter.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email or by sending us a message. After you unsubscribe, we delete your address from the newsletter list; we keep proof of your previous consent for up to three years.
8. Brevo as a service provider
Brevo is a provider based in Germany and processes the data on our behalf on servers in the European Union. We have a data processing agreement with Brevo pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. More in Brevo’s privacy policy: brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy.
9. Google Analytics
If you consent to the category “Statistics” in the banner, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to understand how our website is used, for example which pages are visited and where visitors come from. The analytics program is loaded from Google (googletagmanager.com). Cookies are set (e.g. “_ga”, lifetime up to two years) and usage data is transmitted to Google: pages visited, time spent, device and browser information, approximate location. IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics 4. A transfer to the USA is possible; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG). Without consent, Google Analytics is not loaded. We only store your decision in your browser. You can change it at any time via “Cookies” at the bottom of every page; if you withdraw consent, we delete the Analytics cookies. More: policies.google.com/privacy.
10. Map with Google Maps
On the contact page we show a map from Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) so you can find us easily. The map is only loaded once you have consented to the category “External media” or clicked “Load map”. Your IP address, the page accessed and technical data from your browser are then transmitted to Google, including to the USA, and Google may set cookies. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG), which you can withdraw at any time via “Cookies”. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More: policies.google.com/privacy.
11. Appointment booking with Calendly
On the rates page you can book an appointment for an intro call. We use Calendly (Calendly LLC, 115 E Main St, Ste A1B, Buford, GA 30518, USA) for this. The calendar is only loaded once you have consented to the category “External media” or clicked “Load calendar”. Your IP address is then transmitted to Calendly, and Calendly may set cookies. If you book an appointment, Calendly processes the data entered (name, email address, chosen time) on our behalf. The legal basis for loading is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG), for the booking Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. The transfer to the USA is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More: calendly.com/privacy.
12. Instagram and Facebook
We link to our profiles on Instagram and Facebook. Only when you click a link are you forwarded to the respective service (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.). Meta’s privacy policy applies there.
13. Encryption
This site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise it by the “https://” in the address bar.
14. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21) and withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR). Simply send us an email.
